How to Create a Supporter Account

Individuals can use Donaide to engage with organizations (donate, volunteer, follow, attend events, etc.), explore causes they care about, manage their donations and volunteer opportunities and more!

To create your FREE Donaide account and get started, you:

1. Head to this link which will take you to this page:

2. Click "Create Account"

And go either the "I am a donor" or "I am a volunteer" route. *Both of these create the same account.

3. Fill out your contact information

*Note that you can indicate how you want to be communicated with. This will tell nonprofits with whom you engage how you prefer to be contacted.

4. Tell us more about you

*All of this information is completely private and will not be shared unless you give permission for it to be by following, donating publicly to, or volunteering with an organization.

5. What are your interests?

You are able to tell us what activities, types of events, and volunteer opportunities you're interested in. This helps us match you to more accurate organizations, campaigns, events, and volunteer opportunities you'll care about. *We cannot accurately match you to causes unless this is complete.

6. Select the causes you care about

You can choose the cause categories you care most about or search for specific causes like: human trafficking, cancer, international women's rights, etc.

7. Create your login

*Your password must be at least "good" to move on.

Your account is created! 🎉

A few things you can now do with your account --

1. Search for and follow organizations to start filling up your news feed! When you follow organizations, campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and events, you will starting seeing new updates from your favorites causes every time you login!
2. Finish your profile if you didn't complete it during registration. (Click the icon in the top right > view your profile > edit your profile). Doing this allows Donaide to make better matches to organizations you may care about! Also, when you finish your contact information + add your payment info, all of this pre-populates when your signing up to volunteer and donate!
3.  Explore the "For You" page. This page is a curated list Donaide has created with organizations, campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and events matched for you.
