Step 1:
Head on over to app.donaide.com and click "Create an Account"
Step 2:
Click "I am a nonprofit organization" and hit "next"
Step 3:
Enter your EIN or Employer Identification Number. An EIN is a unique number issued to all organizations to identify them with the IRS. You can find your EIN be looking at a previously filed tax return or on your 501(c)(3) tax document.
*If you don't know or don't have access to your EIN, click "I don't know my EIN." Keep in mind that this is used to verify your nonprofit status and if this is clicked, we will need to contact you at a later date for your EIN.
Step 4:
Enter in your information. If you put in your EIN, a lot of this information will pre-populate for you.
*Your organization name, website, phone, email, and address will be what shows on your public profile and can be edited at any time.
Step 5:
Upload your 501(c)(3) document. Section 501(c)(3) is the portion of the US Internal Revenue Code that allows for federal tax exemption of nonprofit organizations, specifically those that are considered public charities, private foundations or private operating foundations. Every organization recieves this document once their 501(c)(3) status is approved, and they therefore become a nonprofit organization.
*If you don't know or don't have access to your 501(c)(3), click "I don't have this document. Please contact me." Keep in mind that this is used to verify your nonprofit status and if this is clicked, we will need to contact you at a later date for your 501(c)(3).
Step 6:
Create your login.
*Your password must be at least "good" to move on.
Step 7:
Choose your appropriate plan.
Step 8:
Select your optional add-ons.
Step 9:
Checkout.
Success, you're in!
